Hidden Agenda

We were apprised by an inside source that the Board has a hidden agenda for us. We've known this for quite awhile, but it didn't become quite clear to me until now exactly what it was.

The Board knows and we know that there is a problem with this 'unit'. The Board knew that we wouldn't take the unit and refused to show us another. They fed the inspector disinformation about the history of the unit and got the inspection report they wanted - their ammunition if you will. If the inspection had been an honest one and the problem fixed we would have moved. But that wasn't what the Board wanted.

We will not move into that unit because of the high humidity level, basement leaks and inevitable mold growth. The Board will then retract our subsidy and we will get kicked out of this co-op.

What a sick, sick place!
