COLLUSION

Cover-up Painting of the Basement Floor
In summary, we found the air in the basement humid ... However, we did not find any evidence of past or currently active water leakage into the basement, and we did no see mould or other growths on exposed surfaces. Assessment: We understand the previous occupants of Townhouse no. __, resident for six years, had not experienced any water penetration into the basement. Nevertheless, Mrs. __ (me), wrote in her email to CMHC that there is active water leakage, potential for electrocution, mould growth, etc. (Report by Building Consultants dated July 14, 2010)

I was Chairperson of the Maintenance Committee for three years and co-Chair for two. Prior to that I was Unit Inspection Co-ordinator for three years and I've done at least 1,000 inspections in this co-op. I have NEVER seen a concocted report like the one above quoted. CMHC, The Agency and the co-op got the report that they wanted.

We notified the co-op yesterday that we will take Unit __ under protest, in light of the fact that the building inspector ignored the photographic evidence which we provided him with. The co-op is blackmailing us: Take the unit, or lose your subsidy. We will proceed to take action against the co-op by way of a Human Rights action and/or litigation.

The previous resident(s) in Unit __ did not live in the unit for six years. They lived there for approximately 18 months. Then the unit sat empty for another 6 months.
