When we attended the Board of Director's meeting last week, the outside Board member said that the co-op will definitely not refinish the oak parquet floor in the unit we are being ordered to transfer to. She said that the floor was 'BEAUTIFUL', that there were merely a few scratches.
When I asked how much I would have to pay to get the floor refinished - for damage and/or wear and tear I did not cause - this provoked much anger from the Office Co-ordinator. I then asked how much the co-op paid to have an ex-Board member's floor refinished. More hissing and seething anger directed as us.
We are not one of the favoured in this co-op.
